Raining Toaster Ovens

Lately, there have been weird phenomenons like winds that smelled salty even though we’re hundreds of miles away from the nearest beach, and rainbows have appeared without it having rained beforehand! Just yesterday, the sky darkened rapidly, as if for a major thunderstorm. Unearthly lightning flashed and thunder rolled amidst the seething clouds dramatically. Then amazingly, the best toaster ovens began falling out of the sky, smashing and breaking apart on the street when they landed. One of the falling toaster ovens fell on Mrs. Moran’s dog while the rest of us, completely shocked, ran for cover away from the strange rain. I won’t miss Butt. He was smelly, lunatic, and very noisy.
