Gluten Intolerance is no Joke

When I was in college, I had a dorm mate that was gluten intolerant. She couldn’t eat any gluten products or it would make her terribly sick. One day, I brought her back some Gluten Free Ice Cream when she was sick and she ate the whole pint. She never knew that there was such a thing as gluten free ice cream, which I now suspect largely contributed to her sickness. She was so happy to find that she didn’t have to give up her favorite treat, that we started making a weekly event of it after classes on Fridays. It was nice to have the date and be able to eat something healthy too.
