Getting Accustomed To Curry Spices
July 29th, 2010
When making curry, spices are your most important concern. In a sense, curry is just a combination of anywhere from a couple to a couple of dozen spices. Spices that you’ve probably never even heard of, but are non-the-less very important to the dish. While certain chicken curry recipes will ask you to use pre-made spice packets, to truly get the best flavor out of chicken curry you should try grinding and mixing your own spices. This will not only give your chicken curry better flavor, but also an earthier tone that is important for any Indian dish. Remember: cooking is a learning experience, so take it slowly and become accustomed to your curry spices.
