Are conveyor ovens as good as other ovens?

The last time I went to a pizza place with my friends, I was surprised that instead of conventional ovens, the pizza parlor we went to, used conveyor ovens to make the pizza. I was a little skeptical about the quality because the best pizzas are usually those that are cooked traditionally. To my surprise, pizzas that were baked in conveyor ovens taste just as delicious as those cooked in brick ovens. My friends and I thought that the taste can be credited to the pizza shop itself but when we tried other pizza shops that have conveyor ovens, we were satisfied with their quality.
