A Cake for a Special Occasion

My dad just recently had his 50th birthday. My mom wanted to go all out on the surprise party so she collaborated with me and my sisters to get all the details worked out. I was the one who was going to be making his favorite cake, German chocolate. My sisters took care of all the other food, and my mom took care of all the party plans and decorations. My dad was so surprised, and the party was a huge success. We all had a lot of fun, and everyone kept going on about how good the cake was.
