In our discussions of remote sensing application we will come across a variety of emt software. Remote sensing is the application of technology where we judge or sense the amount many parameters from a remote distance. The fundamental concept of remote sensing lies in the electromagnetic waves. These waves are very special in nature because they have both the electric and the magnetic fields that mutually perpendicular oscillating in the direction of propagation. The best examples of electromagnetic waves are all natural light and all kinds of radiations, be it the alpha, beta or the gamma waves. These waves have a property that they can pass through vacuum and can alter the properties of the medium. Although the change is very minimum but it can be large when it is through the organic substances, like the effect of radiation on human body.
