Gelato Affogato with Honey

In order to prepare this gelato affogato heat up some cream and honey in a saucepan on low flame. Once heated up and mixed remove from the heat source and keep aside for half an hour. In a mixing bowl beat up nine egg yolks and add honey to it. Keep on whipping till a creamy and pale mixture is acquired. Add cream. Now pour this mixture in a saucepan and cook over low flame while stirring continuously till the mixture gets coated on the back of the stirrer. Once cooled strain and then add mascarpone. Now place in ice cream maker.
