People like to cook their turkey in an oven as it is less messy and more convenient, but then it gets all dry and horrible, which kind of ruins the meal. Instead if you use an indoor electric turkey fryer then you get the same kind of convenience, but you get a crispy skin and succulent, moist inside after it cooks, just the way it should be. Yes you do have to deal with the oil and clean it out etc which is more work, but then it cooks a lot faster than an oven as well, so you can spend the time you saved waiting for it to cook in the oven cleaning out the oil!

My wife and I tend to get disappointed when we dine out anymore. Other than a choice few restaurants we dine in the vast majority with the time. When I was in college, I had a dorm mate that was gluten intolerant. She couldn’t eat any gluten products or it would make her terribly sick. One day, I brought her back some Gluten Free Ice Cream when she was sick and she ate the whole pint. She never knew that there was such a thing as gluten free ice cream, which I now suspect largely contributed to her sickness. She was so happy to find that she didn’t have to give up her favorite treat, that we started making a weekly event of it after classes on Fridays. It was nice to have the date and be able to eat something healthy too.
